Day 1

Fabulous sunny start to the Snowdonia Slate Trail on Friday

Bangor to Bethesda with a tiny diversion to see this (on the A5 between Bangor & Bethesda) followed by a pit stop in Caffi Coed Y Brenin in Bethesda and our first passport stamp

Day 1

Day 2

Bethesda to Llanberis and another fabulous day with glorious sunshine

Day 2

Day 3

If it’s Friday it must be a Snowdonia Slate Trail day
Llanberis to Waunfawr - again blessed with sparkling sunshine!

Day 3

Day 4

Fourth Friday on the Snowdonia Slate Trail but the weather Gods turned on us. Waunfawr to Rhyd Ddu. It rained the whole way but the scenery on this stretch is fabulous and you really feel you are immersed in Slate history as you make your way down into Nantlle.
