After reading about the Snowdonia Slate Trail in Trail Magazine, I instantly knew I wanted to do it. And within 6 weeks of reading of it, I had.
I completed the whole trail in 5 days and I also added a climb up Snowdon along the Rhyd-Ddu Path.
The trail itself is amazing. I have seen new parts of Snowdonia I would not have seen if I hadn’t completed the trail.
The trail is marked well enough, but I did get lost a couple of times. Not for long, I just deviated from the path slightly.
I highly recommend this trail and I will be back 100%.
